Commitment

Accessibility statement: our approach to accessible design

We apply inclusive design principles, semantic HTML, and progressive enhancement to support assistive technologies and a wide range of devices. For related info, see our About page and services.

Design principles

  • Proper headings, lists, and landmarks for structural navigation.
  • Clear labels for inputs and descriptive alt text for imagery.
  • Color contrast reviewed against AA targets.

Interaction patterns

  • Keyboard navigability with visible focus states.
  • Reduced-motion preferences respected where possible.
  • Meaningful link text and predictable behaviors.

Content practices

  • Plain language and logical reading order.
  • ARIA used sparingly to supplement semantics.
  • Descriptive titles, meta, and breadcrumb structure.

Standards

Standards, technologies, and compatibility

Our target standard is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The site is built with modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and is tested across current browsers.

Guidelines

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (Level AA).
  • WAI-ARIA for enhanced semantics when needed.

Technologies

  • HTML5, CSS, and progressively enhanced JS.
  • Tested with keyboard navigation and basic screen-reader flows.

Compatibility

  • Current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
  • Responsive layouts for common mobile and desktop sizes.

Limitations

Accessibility statement: known limitations & continuous improvement

Despite our efforts, some content or integrations may not be fully accessible yet. We’re working to improve identified issues on a rolling basis.

Third-party embeds

Some third-party widgets or iframes may have accessibility constraints outside our control. We evaluate alternatives and provide accessible fallbacks when possible.

Legacy content

Older posts or media may not yet meet our current standards. We are updating templates and assets iteratively.
